Pedicab 101

HOW DO THESE RIDE THINGIES WORK?
HERE'S THE PEDICAB 101!

We're totally psyched you want a ride.  But while the ride itself is a simple treat, there are lots of varieties rides come in.  So we pulled together the basics below to help you figure out the best choice in ride options.

Where we can bring you.

We predominantly operate in downtown Boston (south end/back bay, financial district, and the north end). We love getting out of our comfort zone into anywhere in greater Boston too! Accommodation for other areas of Massachusetts is also possible with enough notice and proper transportation of our pedicabs.

When are we out pedaling?

3 hours before & after large events (think Fenway park , TD Garden and other crowd drawing events)

11am & onwards most nice days of the summer, especially weekends

anytime you book a ride, special/corporate event, or tour! (try to give us at least 3 hrs notice for bookings, especially in the colder months!)

How many people fit on a pedicab?

Our pedicabs are designed for two or three adults (sometimes it gets a little cozy with three), or two adults and two small children (6 or 7 years old and younger). We can often take up to 4 or 5 people in a cab if you’re willing to share some laps and legs!

Pricing and payment methods

Tour rates are 95/hr + tip per pedicab.

Regular A to B rides start between $30-$60 per pedicab. Timing, distance, passenger count and city happenings will factor into final price (always negotiable with your driver at the end)

Drivers always prefer cash, but happily accept Venmo, Cashapp and Applepay/debit or credit

How tours work.

Tours can be booked for any time during the day or evening, and can cover literally anywhere within Boston Proper. Your imagination is the only limit.

Feel free to flag down drivers on the street for an instant tour, or book here online to plan your tour in advance

Groups, parties and company rides.

Need a few pedicabs for a group? No problem! On group rides, our cabs will stay together in a herd to make sure the group stays cohesive.

Year-round riding.

Every day in the summer we ride. While we do ride the fall and winter, our schedule is often limited. Typically, we only ride on Fridays and Saturdays during colder months, but also come out for major local events. (Did someone say Bruins?)

Mother Nature's influence.

If there’s steady rain, snow or ice, we may stay home just like you do. (But sometimes, on hot summer days, riding in a light shower is actually tons of fun.) On cooler nights, most of our pedicabs will have snuggly blankets on board.
