Globalization goes both ways. Adopted from similar human-powered transportation that has prospered for years overseas, Boston Pedicab seeks to start a revolution in Boston transportation. Our cabs are faster than walking (or the Green Line), can maneuver through heavy traffic, are environmentally friendlier than busses or trains and more fun and entertaining than any of these services.
The revolution is being televised - Boston Pedicab has been featured on NECN, Channel 5, Channel 7 as well as in The Boston Globe, WZLX, Northeastern News, Improper Bostonian and more. People just can’t get over the advantages of pedicab transportation – the entertaining drivers, the comfortable ride, the perfect people-watching speed, the sun and the breeze – pedicab transport is the perfect “see and be seen” experience. Some of our customers merely ask: “just take us around” for a quiet ride through the side streets of the Back Bay or South End, a relaxing way to start or end your night in Boston.
In fact, our customers have been so pleased with their pedicab rides, we’ve stopped charging set rates! We merely ask our riders to “pay as you please” – ensuring that you can’t possibly be disappointed by their service, since you only pay what you feel your ride was worth. It saves us on the math, saves you on the uncertainty. Some taxicabs have been known to take the longest route possible while the meter keeps running, but you never have to worry about that with a pedicab – we don’t have meters.
PEDICABS - We maintain New England’s largest fleet of state-of-the-art, 21-speed pedicabs. All the bikes are equipped with lights, reflectors, shock-absorbed seating, bells and hydraulic breaks. For those less-than-perfect nights, our cabs will be out in force with all-weather full-cabin coveralls and warm fleece blankets.
